The last month or two, my artwork has been featured in two starkly different publications. The first is a local street zine and the other a local magazine:
“Buttout Zine is the brain-child of two locals who are bananas about art, music, writing, odd spots, mom and pops, local vendors, tasty vegetarian bites, and all things obscure in sunny South Florida.”
At the end of July, my art was featured in the third issue of Buttout Zine, along with an interview. And though the zine is based out of sunny south FL, it has been circulated throughout a few different states. I was very happy to do it. I submitted art for it that I refused to show via social media or the internet. If you’d like to get your hands on one, you can find them on Facebook [here], or send them an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Go Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is a premium, upscale monthly feature magazine and events guide focusing on the best Fort Lauderdale has to offer, featuring our Downtown and Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment district, Las Olas Boulevard shopping & dining, world-famous Fort Lauderdale beach destinations, our outstanding business and professional community and the many unique and diverse lifestyles that make Fort Lauderdale one of the best places in the world to live, work & play!”
The second publication is Go Riverwalk Magazine. This month’s issue (September 2015) features an article about yours cruelly, as well as a few photos of artwork. The article was written by Jamion Kries, who made me sound much more interesting than I really am. I thought his words were very gracious and artfully written.
