Last week I had two workshops at Young At Art Museum in Davie, FL. The first was open to the public and the second was for YAA campers, although not totally closed to the public either. We set up behind the Macfarlane Manor exhibit.
Last time I did this, I had the crowd draw a monster picture along with me. They’d suggest monster body parts (eyes, noses, ears, arms, face shape, etc.) and I’d put them together on a dry erase board. So, as soon as a suggestion came in, it was drawn on the board. THIS TIME, both monster drawings we had put together will be made into cardboard sculptures. Then I will donate it to the Annual Interest show hosted by Bedlam Lorenz Assembly at Young At Art Museum at the end of January.
And I have a week to complete them. There’s a new link on the side menu labeled “BLA/YAA Sculpture |.” Frequent this link, if you like, throughout the week to follow my progress.
